Akin Monehin

Akin Monehin is a transformation leader, entrepreneur, and author of Execution Is a Lieā„¢.
At Shell, he currently leads supply chain delivery for an ongoing multi-billion-dollar energy project, ensuring reliability, value capture, and execution discipline across value chain delivery. Until September 2025, he also served as Business Transformation Manager, where he,
together with key members of the leadership team, delivered $200–$250 million in incremental free cash flow each year for five consecutive years.

His earlier career with Virgin Atlantic and British Airways built his commercial and
operational breadth, while Shell-seconded assignments at Nigeria LNG and Pearl GTL (Shell Qatar Gas-to-Liquids) - the world’s largest GTL plant expanded his global perspective.

Having lived and worked in more than ten countries across Africa and the Middle East, Akin brings a panoramic understanding of how strategy succeeds, stalls, or recovers under execution pressure.
